Meet some of Wildbarks’ resident animals!

Start your experience with a hands-on encounter with our Shingleback Lizards, a unique reptilian found in Mulligans Flat. From there, you’ll get the opportunity to observe our resident Woma Python before you step out into the wildlife enclosures to meet our friendly Eastern Bettong. This encounter will allow you to see this elusive nocturnal animal up close while it enjoys its nightly feed.

Our Twilight Tours will take you deep into the sanctuary to visit wild populations of Eastern Bettongs. For those looking for a more intimate experience, our Meet the Wildlife encounter is for you.

Hear more about how we manage this threatened species in our predator-proof Sanctuary and learn how they help to restore the landscape.

Encounter details:

• Adults: $50

• Children (Ages 7 to 16): $40

• Ages: 7 years to adult

• Group size: 10 Max

• You will be entering the home of a semi-wild animal that may not always venture into the public space. The animals are not restrained in any way and are free to leave the encounter if they choose.

• Prams and strollers cannot be taken into the encounter.

What to bring/wear

• Enclosed, flat shoes are a MUST.

• Appropriate clothing (i.e. Rain protection or warm clothing)

• Make sure to bring your camera so you can share your experience!

Please note: Tours run in rain, hail or shine. Tours will only be cancelled if there is a total fire ban in place or extreme weather.

All funds paid through our tours go straight to conservation projects in the sanctuary.
